Every year in early summer, I offer a retreat in one of my favorite spots in Greece, my all time favorite summer spot. This year brings us to Kefalonia, one of the Ionian islands on the West side of Greece, close to the famed Pelopponese region that houses much of Ancient Greece. Kefalonia is loved by Greek and local travelers alike for its emerald-green mountains, limestone cliffs and the sparkling azure waters and dazzling beaches of the Ionian Sea. Travelers also love to interact with the locals, known for their friendly, jovial and laidback way of life.

Spend 7 days and 7 glorious nights at Vericoco Retreat Center set within olive groves and with magnificient views of the majestic Mount Aenos and the Ionian sea. Around the estate are plenty of quiet spots for visitors to take time out and explore, including the organic vegetable gardens, the fruit tree grove with traditional well. The grounds are spacious enough for guests to enjoy plenty of solitary moments, yet conveniently laid out to provide easy access to all the shared facilities. Just 300 metres from Spartia beach. We practice yoga on a glorious shaded wooden deck.
